Prayers in the Chaos
I’ve learned that some seasons of life don’t come with neat answers or easy explanations. Sometimes all we can do is bring the mess, the questions, the fear, the hope, and the things we don’t even know how to put into words…and lay them at the feet of Jesus.
Prayer has carried me though moments that I didn’t think I’d make it through. It’s been the place I’ve gone when I’ve had answers, and especially when I haven’t.
This page is a place for prayers that God puts on my heart, but it’s also a place for you. A place where you can ask for prayer, share what you’re walking through or simply know that someone is lifting you up.
No request is too big. No request is too small. No explanation needed.
Because life is messy. Faith is a journey. And none of us were meant to carry it alone.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with Thanksgiving, present your requests to God” – Philippians 4:6

My favorite place to meet God ,and where I’ve encountered him the most, is in Felicity Ohio at Crossroads Base Camp. And when I’m not there, that land is what I can visualize in my mind when I pray to block out all the noise. Jesus meets me there every time.
One day I wanted to create a space where I felt God as strongly here as I do there. Thus the creation of my cozy prayer room. God is not limited to this space. We chat a lot in the car, He is who I’m talking to as I fall asleep each night. But when I need to block out all the noise, cry and even battle this is where I go.
